Ending of Kote Geashi

In the white belt chart, on the Aikijujutsu techniques there is cross-wrist kote geashi. After you as tori bring uke to the ground, do you put his wrist on the ground first and then put your knee on the pointy part of his elbow and torque out his wrist to break it or do you put the knee down first on his elbow as you torque out the wrist?

Same question, more importantly for Gun – Kote Geashi. Do you slam the gun-holding hand down to the ground first and then twist it out after putting your knee on the elbow?
